Our AMS GT3 intake manifold conversion kit for the classic Porsches.  True to our namesake, it is available in a range of customised configurations and combinations of parts.

The kits are based around the 996 GT3 large volume intake manifolds, with much larger runner diameters than other available factory parts. 49mm, compared to the standard 964 manifold 43mm, or smaller 39mm 3.2 manifolds.

In addition to the standard kit, the turbo version eliminates the factory plastic resonance flap assembly and instead comes with our beautiful CNC machined resonance flap delete kit. This increases reliability, reduces boost leaks and simplifies the whole system. We generally recommend to include the resonance flap, as it can improve power in the mid range on many engines. Many customers chose the resonance flap delete turbo version for the simplicity.

AMS parts are CNC machined and anodised in Black.

The kits are available to suit both the earlier 2 bolt cylinder heads (2.7/3.0/3.2) and later 3 bolt cylinder heads (964/993), please select the right option for you. We are happy to help and build custom kits to suit your needs. Please don't hesitate to contact us!

Included in all kits: Base Kit

  • AMS high flow intake T-piece / manifold, equipped with ports for vacuum lines and the Bosch T-map sensor, hidden out of sight. Internal air guide to improve airflow.
  • AMS CNC machined turbo resonance flap delete pipe
  • AMS fuel rail kit with fittings
  • Bosch 82mm electronic throttle body with connector kit
  • Bosch 3.0 Bar T-MAP sensor and connector kit
  • AMS rubber sleeves for throttle, resonance flap (4x), including hose clamps
  • AMS rubber sleeves for intake adapters (6x), including hose clamps
  • Fasteners and fittings

Option 1: 2 Bolt Kit Including Manifolds

In addition to the base kit:

  • AMS 2 Bolt (2.7/3.0/3.2/3.3) intake adapters available in 40, and 42mm port diameters and spacers for AMS fuel rails to suit long medium or short EV14 style injectors. Please nominate preferred port diameter at time of ordering.
  • OEM Porsche 996 GT3 Intake Manifold x 2, including plugs for side ports.

Option 2: 2 Bolt Kit Excluding Manifolds

Included in the kits is:

  • AMS 2 Bolt (2.7/3.0/3.2/3.3) intake adapters available in 40, and 42mm port diameters and spacers for AMS fuel rails to suit long medium or short EV14 style injectors. Please nominate preferred port diameter at time of ordering.

Option 3: 3 Bolt Kit Including Manifolds

  • AMS 3 bolt (964/993 3.6) intake adapters available in 42, and 44mm port diameters and spacers for AMS fuel rails to suit long medium or short EV14 style injectors. Please nominate preferred port diameter at time of ordering.
  • OEM Porsche 996 GT3 Intake Manifold x 2, including plugs for side ports.

Option 4: 3 Bolt Kit Excluding Manifolds

In addition to the base kit:

  • AMS 3 bolt (964/993 3.6) intake adapters available in 42, and 44mm port diameters and spacers for AMS fuel rails to suit long medium or short EV14 style injectors. Please nominate preferred port diameter at time of ordering.
